     Open Swimming will begin at the Napoleon High School pool on Tuesday, October 8th.  Pool hours will be available on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8:30 - 10:00 pm. for adults 18 & Over.  The pool will be open for all ages on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.  Admission is $2.00 per person.  NOTE:  OPEN SWIMMING AT THE NAPOLEON HIGH SCHOOL HAS BEEN SUSPENDED UNTIL APRIL 7 DUE TO THE CLOSING OF THE NAPOLEON SCHOOLS. 

      A new private boat dock storage policy has been implemented by the City of Napoleon.  There will be a $50.00 annual fee to place docks at the Ritter Park boatramp facility.  In addition to the annual fee, dock storage will also be  subject to various removal dates based on the zone in which they are stored.  Click here to view the entire policy including a description of the storage zones.  Click here for a storage permit registration form For more information, contact the City Building at 419-592-4010. 

      The new Off-Leash Dog Park is located in East Riverdowns Park on E. Front St.  To access the dog park, a $10.00 annual membership is required.  Click here for more information on becoming a member.

     The Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with the United Karate System and its instructor Randy Hann is currently offering Karate Classes.  Sessions are held on Tuesday and Sundays at Oberhaus Park Community Center and at the Napoleon Elementary School.   For class information, visit www.karatebyhann.com.
