FAQ
Question-
How many calls do you
have per year and what
do you do when you are
not on a call.
Answer-
Good
question, In 2008 we
responded to 1039
incidents. that comes
out to almost 3 runs per
day.
But
don't think that's all
that happens at the
station during the day.
Each day at the fire
station is filled with
duties that have to be
done in order for us to
provide the the highest
quality service that we
can, each truck in our
fleet has to be
maintained, cleaned and
all the equipment on
those trucks needs to be
checked to ensure that
it is working properly.
The fire station is also
our home and just like
any house we need to
ensure that it is clean,
comfortable and safe for
not only the people
working inside but for
any member of the public
that stops in. each year
we provide many tours
for school children and
groups and spend several
hundred hours a year
training to be the best
that we can be.
