kind of services do you provide besides put
out fires and run the ambulance ?
Answer-
Good
question most people only see the fire truck
or the ambulance and don't realize
everything that we're capable of . So
here's a list of some of the things we can
do
Public Education. You can go to
the web page on this site to see everything
we do .
Fire Investigators . We have
several members that are part of the Henry
county fire investigation task force .
Hazardous Materials Response . Equipment
and training to respond
to hazardous material
spills.
Water Rescues . We have members
that are attached to the Henry county dive
team .
High Angle Rescue . We have
equipment and training to do rescues on high
places .
Ice Rescue . We have equipment
and training that enables us to rescue
people that have fallen through or are
trapped on the ice .
Confined Space Rescue. We are the
County wide contact for Confined Space
Rescue
Dive Team.
We have
members that are
attached to the Henry
County Dive team for
underwater search and
rescue.
EMS Bike Team.
Used for event coverage
and places where you may
not be able to have a
full size ambulance go.
First Aid and CPR instruction .
Fire Safety Inspections .
Fire Extinguisher Training .
Our members
spend hundreds of hours in training every
year in order to provide these services to
our community .
