The City’s garage is a full-service operation responsible for the repair and preservation of approximately 158 vehicles and/or equipment (not including small, miscellaneous items such as weed eaters and lawn mowers). The garage is staffed by 2 full-time mechanics that work on a wide variety of items ranging from chainsaws and golf carts to snow plows, police cars and fire trucks. In addition to their normal duties, the garage staff also helps with snow removal and seasonal clean-ups.
