The City of Napoleon operates a one person maintenance division that is responsible for building and equipment maintenance. The division is fully equipped for MIG, TIG, and arc welding, as well as plasma cutting. In addition to the metal working machinery, the division also has a large assortment of woodworking equipment required for maintenance operations. The maintenance division, like many of the other divisions, performs a wide range of tasks. Some of which include: installation and removal of boat docks, City pool maintenance, start up/shut down and maintenance of the golf course irrigation system, carpentry work and general building upkeep and/or repair for all of the City’s facilities. The division also assists in snow removal and with the seasonal clean ups.
